Jiu Jitsu promotes the concept that a smaller or less physically dominant person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant through leverage and applying the proper technique. This can most notably be achieved by taking the fight to the ground and applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person.
This class offers a tremendous self-defense workout emphasizing aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, making it an enjoyable workout for women, men and children no matter their athletic ability.
